Barb is a proud owner of Headlox Hair Studio, bringing over 10 years of experience behind the chair. with a passion for continued education, she travels annually to expand her skills to stay inspired and keep up with the latest techniques and trends in the hair industry.

She specializes in precision short cuts for both men and women, as well as customized foiling techniques to create beautiful, dimensional colours. Barb is also certified in hair extensions and enjoys mentoring new stylists through the salon’s Associate Program.

When she is not behind the chair, Barb loves spending time with her family, and she looks forward to their annual vacations together, a chance to relax, recharge and make lasting memories.

Amanda has been part of the hair industry for over 10 years. Her journey began at Pro Image Hair Academy in Barrie, Ontario, where she balanced full-time studies with working in a salon — learning the foundations of great hair design through real experience and dedication.

Since then, she has continued to grow and evolve, taking advanced education and hands-on classes across different provinces and countries. Amanda has focused on becoming a colour specialist and bonding specialist, and she loves working with all hair types and textures. Along the way, she has trained in precision cutting, updos, and styling, constantly reconnecting with the basics while expanding her creative skill set.

Hair has always been a part of who Amanda is. The passion runs deep in her family — her Mummo (grandmother) owned a hair salon in Finland more than 60 years ago, and her mom followed in her footsteps, attending hair school and working in a salon in Aurora, Ontario. It’s no surprise that Amanda discovered that same love and knew it was her path too.

For her, hair is more than just style — it’s a way to help people feel confident and beautiful.

Robin is a kind and caring stylist with eight years of experience in the industry. She truly listens to her guests, taking the time to understand their vision and ensure they leave the salon feeling beautifully refreshed and confident.

She is deeply passionate about all things blonde, specializing in custom, lived in blondes and seamless extensions that add major fullness and length.

She combines her expertise with a genuinely warm guest-centered approach, taking the time to truly listen to your hair goals and ensure an uplifting experience from start to finish.

Karley has been bringing hair dreams to life since 2019 and is known for her kind nature and warm, welcoming personality. She is passionate about helping clients achieve their dream looks and takes pride in making every visit a positive, confidence-boosting experience.

Karley loves all things colour and specializes in balayage techniques and custom colour, creating soft, dimensional looks that turn heads. Her creativity and attention to detail shine through in every service she provides.

She puts everything she learns straight into her work, she stays ahead of the latest trends through fresh classroom inspiration and precision cutting techniques.

Valeria joined the hairstyling industry in 2020 and has been passionately growing her craft ever since. She is a quick learner with a natural talent for understanding her clients' needs and bringing their vision to life.

 While she loves creating custom layered haircuts, modern shags, and working with extensions. Valeria is equally passionate about staying ahead of the latest colour trends, like balayages, lived in looks and bold colours.  She ensures every client leaves looking amazing.

Valeria doesn't just style your hair for the day, she educates you on how to maintain it. You'll leave the chair with product knowledge and tips to keep your look fresh and healthy between  appointments

Maddie is a passionate Junior Stylist with 3 years of experience behind the chair and a love for helping clients bring their hair visions to life, whether that means something bold and creative, or soft and natural. She is well versed in all haircut varieties.

Always eager to learn, Maddie is constantly expanding her skills and welcomes the knowledge, advice, and mentorship of the Headlox team. Her ability to adapt, combined with her creative eye and open-minded approach, allows her to take on new challenges.

Friendly and welcoming, Maddie is passionate about creating a space where everyone feels comfortable expressing themselves. Above all, she loves helping people leave her chair feeling confident, comfortable, and the best version of themselves.
