Our Team

Chantel is a Senior Master Stylist as well as part owner. She studied at Utopia Academy in 2000 and continued her career at Spa Utopia for the following 8 years. Chantel has a lot to offer her clients, as she has over 19 years of experience as a licensed Hairstylist. She is certified in all Babe hair extensions, and in 2019 traveled to Salt Lake City, Utah to become a Babe extension educator. Chantel's new passion is training fellow stylist hair extensions. 

Chantel lives on Vancouver island where she owns another salon, she travels to Chilliwack every other week to service her clients.

Barb is a Master Stylist as well as part owner. She has over 7 years of experience and also travels once a year to continue her education behind the chair. She enjoys teaching in the Associate Program here at the salon, and specializes in short cuts for both men and women. Barb also enjoys creating stunning event styles for your special day and is certified in Babe Tape-in & Fusion Hair Extensions. 

Barb loves to take family vacations with her kids once a year to rejuvenate.

Amanda is a Senior Stylist at Headlox as well as a part owner.  She graduated from Pro Image Hair Academy in Barrie, Ontario and has been in the. industry for 6 years. She loves taking classes in order to stay up to date with the newest techniques and styles. She enjoys everything involving colour, especially creative colour. Amanda also works with Babe tape-in extensions.

Since Amanda moved to British Columbia her and her husband have taken many weekend getaways exploring her new home.

Robin is a very kind and caring stylist . She listens to what her guests really want and  takes the time with them to insure they re leaving the salon feeling beautifully refreshed. Robin absolutely loves working with colour and is always up for any new exciting colour trends. Robin also does work with extensions to help create the  fullness and or length that clients may be looking for .

Karley has been doing hair since    

2019 . She is incredibly kind and has a very warm welcoming personality. 

Karley is a very passionate hair stylist , her main goal Is to make your hair goals and visions a reality . Karley absolutely loves all colour and balayage techniques. 

 Precision hair cutting has also been something she enjoys and has continued to participate with education as well as challenging herself to try new techniques to keep up with all the latest styles out there today .

Valeria has been enjoying her career in hair since 2020. She is an extremely fast learner in all things concerning hair. V has a gentle but bubbly personality, making her clients feel instantly comfortable in her chair. She is delighted and instantly inspired when anything having to do with fashion colour walks through the salon doors. She also very much enjoys short precision haircutting.

Kayleen is a very kind gentle soul, she is very attentive and is always striving  to make her clients as happy as possible. 

She graduated from Utopia Academy in 2013 . 

Kayleen is very passionate about creating the most natural blended hair colours, and adding that dimension to help bring out your natural beauty.

She also enjoys working with a lot of long layered hair.

Ashley has been absolutely loving her career in hair since 2020. She has a very calm but confident personality, and loves that she gets to participle in making people feel beautiful.

Ashley revels in doing skin fades, short pixie haircuts, perms and any kind of highlighting.  

After graduating from Marvel college in Edmonton, she immediately went on to complete her red seal and is now certified. 

Ashley is constantly looking for ways to expand her knowledge with balayage techniques, fashion colouring, as well as cutting.
